Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship


Fixed term contract for 24months


Salary: £17,620 (per-annum)         


Hours: 37 Hours per week


The City of Wolverhampton Council is looking for an Apprentice to promote and support the work support the work of Insight and Performance's Technical Team.


This role will be to support the work of Insight and Performance's Technical Team in the extraction and manipulation of data from council databases and presenting it in ways that are easy to understand to our customers. Training will be given around Power Bi and computer languages such as SQL to aid this work. A keen interest in computing and statistics would be beneficial.

You will be supported by experienced staff who can assist you with your work and study to give you the support required to be successful in the role and with your apprenticeship. You will also be trained to use various IT systems that support the efficient delivery of our services. Please note at present the Insight and Performance's Technical Team are working from home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so support will be provided virtually via Microsoft Teams.


Please note: Interviews may be conducted remotely using Microsoft Team to comply within social distancing guidelines.
