Job Details

An excellent opportunity has become available for an Desktop Solutions Architect within the team that provides the end user desktop infrastructure needs of the Council. 


Hours:  37 hours per week 


Salary:  Grade 9


Location:  3-5 St James Rd, Dudley (due to COVID 19, staff are currently required to work from home).


You must have excellent technical and communication skills, with current experience of delivery, configuration and support of SCCM, Mobile Device Management, Office 365 and Windows 10.


This is a technical support position and as such requires a competent and capable person with current experience of configuring, developing, and supporting users and hardware across a breath of technologies, as well as knowledge of security standards across a range of service areas


You should also have achieved appropriate accreditations or equivalent to a minimum of MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) level, or be able to demonstrate equivalent technical working knowledge


In addition to taking a technical role within the team, you will be required to support the management of the team and to mentor other team members, plus liaise with customers and suppliers.


Driving licence is essential for this post.
