The Executive Headteacher, Head of School and Trustees of Greenways Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a full time Early Years Practitioner (EYP) to work in our Early Years Foundation Stage setting on a temporary basis for two terms from September 2021.

Are you a dynamic, well-organised and enthusiastic early year’s practitioner who will inspire our pupils to learn through the Early Years Framework?

We are seeking to appoint a practitioner who ideally has recent experience working with 3-5 year olds, has high standards and expectations in every aspect of academy life and is committed to working as part of our early year’s team.

The successful candidate must have a positive approach to their practice, with a firm belief that all children can succeed. We want you to be able to prepare and adapt activities that engage and interest our pupils so that they enjoy accessing their learning. Excellent interpersonal skills and being able to work in partnership with all members of the school community is imperative in supporting us in maintaining our strong home-school links.

You will need to work in partnership with the class teacher to create an attractive/stimulating, safe classroom environment and atmosphere in which pupils feel secure, confident and motivated to learn.

By joining Greenways Primary Academy, you will be part of The Learning Village Academy Trust. At Greenways, together we strive to provide a happy, supportive and safe environment for pupils to learn and grow as individuals whilst achieving academic success. Our expectations are high because we are ambitious for our pupils; they are encouraged and challenged to be the best that they can be and our values are part of daily life.

We can offer you the opportunity to be part of a supportive, highly motivated, hard-working team where children are at the forefront of all decision making. Our children love school and all of the experiences that we offer.

If you would like to join the team, application packs are available from Mrs Boden at greenways@learningvillage.org.uk or alternatively call 01782 235333. Due to the current circumstances, visits to the academy can be offered after school, but are limited, and social distancing rules will need to be adhered to.

The Learning Village Academy Trust is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people and expects all its employees to share this commitment. This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and check of relevant qualifications.

Closing date for all applications will be Friday 14th May 2021 at 12noon.
