Horton Lodge School is looking to appoint a qualified, inspiring Teaching Assistants to join our strong and dedicated team on a casual basis to provide cover as and when needed.

Horton Lodge School is a Local Authority Special School for children aged 2-11years with physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties. Our students have a range of complex learning needs including cognitive, physical, sensory, and health related disabilities.

The successful candidate will work with pupils across the whole of school and will truly hold the pupil’s well being and learning at the centre of all they do. They will have experience and knowledge of pupils with additional needs in a school setting. The successful candidate will be able to form positive and professional relationships with the pupils they work with, as well as understanding the wider needs of the school. They will have the ability to maintain good communication with a range of professionals and work in a proactive and flexible way.

The post is Grade 3 (£18,562 - £18,933 FTE), term time only, casual position.
