SRES Intern at Plas Gwynant Outdoor Education Centre
This Internship is fixed term starting 1 September 2021 until 31 August 2022 and is located at Plas Gwynant Outdoor Education Centre, Nantgwynant, Caernarfon, Gwynedd, LL55 4NR.
This Internship will be based at Plas Gwynant Outdoor Education Centre in Snowdonia in North Wales. The Internship must form an integral part of a relevant HE/FE course. Plas Gwynant OEC is situated in the heart of Snowdonia at the beautiful Gwynant valley. The centre is owned by Sandwell Council in the West Midlands. The majority of our groups come from this area, however we have courses from all over the country and abroad. The ages of our groups range from 11 year olds in year 6, through to teenagers and adult courses.

Successful applicants must be able to work a minimum of 37 hours per week, to include up to 35 overnight duties per year.

You will be expected to work 215 days a year. This gives approximately 9 weeks of annual leave. There is also the opportunity to accrue TOIL for weekend working.
Remuneration for the placement is £9000 per annum payable monthly in arrears. Single accommodation is available on site at £150 per month and food is available at £80 per month.
