We’re looking for a first-class video/photography professional who can help to bring the work of City of Wolverhampton Council to life, using your creative skills to tell the stories of the amazing people who live and work in our city.

It goes without saying that you will be adept at shooting and editing video using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar, but what will make you really stand out is a showreel demonstrating your strong creative credentials and a terrific eye for catching the action and telling a story.

The successful applicant will work within the Corporate Communications Team at City of Wolverhampton Council producing content to go out across multiple channels. This is a busy and exciting role with plenty of variety. One day you might be filming a news piece, the next out on location covering a major event or creating viral content to support a campaign on our successful social media channels.

While you will excel primarily in videography, you will also need to be able to take still photos suitable to go out with media releases and other purposes.

If you’re bursting with ideas to help us take our digital content to the next level, then we want to hear from you.

For more information please contact Tim Clark on (01902) 554076 or email tim.clark@wolverhampton.gov.uk

Interviews will take place on Thursday 10 June 2021.
