£37,890 - £42,821 per annum

The Walsall Proud Programme team are looking for a talented and tenacious individual who can deliver change in line with the council’s transformation programme.

As a Project Manager within the Walsall Proud Programme Team, the post holder will:

  • Provide project management leadership, expertise and appropriate governance to support the delivery of the Proud programme benefits
  • Work closely with senior managers and directors alongside project management teams
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams of technical staff, subject matter experts, suppliers and project resources
  • Be responsible for project documentation, reporting, blue prints, business cases and project and programme plans to support delivery of complex projects and programmes
  • Apply appropriate change procedures including Systems Thinking Methodologies, Management of Risk, Prince2 and Agile Project Management where appropriate

You must have strong business planning skills along with the ability and experience to lead the development and delivery of change projects.  To apply you must hold an industry standards qualification in project management and be educated to degree level (or clearly demonstrate significant professional experience).
