The Walsall Proud Programme team are looking for a talented and tenacious individual who can help us to deliver change in line with the council’s transformation programme.

Developing technologies, customer expectations and external budget pressures mean we need to modernise and rethink how we deliver our services.

We are recruiting a Project Support Officer to support the Proud Programme and Project Team in the successful delivery of Proud transformation programmes and projects

Working as a key member of the Proud Programme Management Office, you will support the team to deliver successful design, planning and delivery of council wide transformation change projects including management of business case and project initiation and management to achieve benefit realisation including efficiencies, savings and improved customer satisfaction.

  • You will work closely with senior managers, directors, programme and project managers and the wider project management teams
  • You will also assist with the development of project plans, including capture and tracking of data.
  • You will assist with the capture and review of risks, issues, dependencies and benefits.
  • You will provide support to and assist with the delivery of transformation projects in accordance with best practice methodology.

We are looking for someone who has strong planning skills along with the ability and experience to work well with project teams in the development and delivery of change projects.
