Job Start Date: As soon as possible (or by 1 September 2021)

We require an enthusiastic Special Needs & Disability Co-Ordinator to join us as an integral member of our Senior Leadership Team.

The successful applicant will already hold a nationally recognised SEND qualification and will be able to demonstrate recent, relevant Primary School (either Key Stage 1 or 2) experience. They will be able to demonstrate a clear commitment to securing outstanding provision for all pupils within the school and be willing to join in with whole school life. Applicants will be required to line manage our teams of Classroom Support Staff (HLTAs and TAs) and should be highly motivated, able to manage their own workload and that of others who they manage and be able to demonstrate excellent communication & organisational skills.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering SEND Provision throughout the school, making referrals to outside agencies where relevant and completing Statements and Education Health Care Plans for pupils as well as managing other intervention strategies. Regular hours / days of work are flexible and can be established at interview.
