The Local Governing Body of St. George’s Junior School is seeking to appoint a highly effective and inspirational teacher at our vibrant and successful school. With twelve classes across Key Stage 2, (360 pupils) and staff; St. George’s Junior School is a proactive, dynamic and friendly team.
We are seeking to appoint a passionate, inspirational, highly motivated teacher to join our team.
The successful applicants must;
 be an excellent classroom practitioner with drive and enthusiasm;
 have had previous successful experience of working with children in Key Stage 2;
 have an understanding of pedagogy and metacognition
 have excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to proactive subject leadership;
 have a commitment to making learning challenging, interesting and motivating;
 be able to work in effective collaboration with other members of school staff to achieve the best possible outcomes for children;
 have high expectations of him or herself and of the children they teach;
 proactively model a growth mindset;
 contribute positively to children’s happiness and well-being;
 communicate effectively with all members of the school community;
 be a team player and possess a sense of humour and demonstrate a willingness to become fully involved in the life and work of the school;
