Job Details

SIPS Education are looking to appoint to the new post of Catering Systems Support Co-ordinator, working within our central management team to co-ordinate the implementation and delivery of a number of transformational information and computer systems across our catering service.

We’re looking for an upbeat and solution-focused individual, who will be able to engage with colleagues, including more than fifty satellite users and school-based customers alike, by telephone, in writing, and face-to face. You will be their first point of contact for systems support and advice, interpreting complex information. You will also be the curator of our information management systems, ensuring data is relevant, accurate and accessible.

The successful candidate will be well organised, flexible, experienced in the use of IT systems at an advanced level, and with excellent analytical, literacy and people skills. Knowledge of the issues affecting School Catering would be an advantage but is not essential.  You will be expected to work five hours per day, on weekday mornings, from 8.30am to 1.30pm, with some flexibility to attend meetings, training and events later in the day.

Hours: 25 hours per week, term time only

Grade: Grade 4 12-17 (£21,372 - £24,830 pro-rata per annum).  Actual Salary £12,879-£14,905 (this is not including 5 years Local Government continuous Service)
