Claims Handling Assistant
We are seeking an experienced claims handler capable of dealing with all classes of business but predominantly dealing with liability (Employer and Public).
The Insurance Team forms part of the wider Financial Services Division and we are seeking to appoint a Claims Handling Assistant to further enhance our existing team and the professional service we provide to our internal and external clients.
Hours 37 per week (negotiable 30 – 37 hours)
Salary Grade 6
Location Council House, Dudley/Working from home
We are seeking an experienced claims handler capable of dealing with all classes of business but predominantly dealing with liability (Employer and Public). Successful candidate will have knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules, be confident in dealing with solicitors, insurers and manage own case loads from inception to closure with minimum supervision.
Working within the well-established Insurance Team, the successful candidate will have experience of handling liability claims, operation of the Claims Portal and being self sufficient in their working style. We are also pleased to offer flexible hours and with a mixture of home and office based working.
