Full Time Learning Support Assistant Required

Start date: beginning of September 2021

Salary scale: LGS Scale 1 – 7, £17,842 - £20,092

Term time only

Hours of work are from 8.30am to 3.30pm with a mid morning and lunch break. Monday to Friday.

We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with a range of abilities, aged 2 – 11 years. Training and experience of working with children with dyslexia, and the ability to plan activities independently, is essential.

Applicants should have at least an NVQ 3 in childcare, or its equivalent, or working towards it. Experience of working with young people in the Early Years Foundation Stage would be an advantage but not essential. A good standard of literacy and numeracy along with proven positive interpersonal skills are required for this post. A good team player and the ability to support the classroom teacher are essential. Training and support will be given.
