Grade G2 £18,198 - £18,933 Pro-Rata to hours worked
Actual Salary from £3,078 per annum, £9.43- £9.81 per hour

Short Heath Federation are seeking to appoint a Cleaner to work 7½ hours a week, based at Rosedale C of E Infant School, but you may also be required to work across the other federation schools.  The hours are mornings, Monday to Friday, 7.00am – 8.30am. 

We also need standby cleaners to cover staff absence.

You may also be required to assist with the deep clean of the schools across the Federation, usually during school holidays.

You will be an important member of our federation premises team and have a positive approach to this key role.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be able to undertake general cleaning duties including mopping, polishing and vacuuming
  • Following training operate various cleaning machinery
  • Have experience of cleaning a variety of premises, including offices, corridors, toilets, classrooms etc
  • Show a willingness to undertake associated training
  • Enjoy being part of a team
  • Understand and comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
