Bromley Hills Primary School is a successful LA controlled school. Founded in 1962, we are a one-and-a-half form entry school with 310 children on role. The education and welfare of the children is in the hands of a caring, friendly, hardworking and experienced team of teaching and non-teaching staff, with a supportive board of governors, who are committed to raising standards and giving our young learners the best possible start.

Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Salary: Main Scale 

Required from: 1 September 2021

We are looking for a successful teacher to work in our thriving school on a full-time basis for a fixed term to cover Maternity Leave. Working in upper KS2, you will be a passionate teacher and share our vision to enable all our children to achieve their full potential.

We are looking for applicants who:

  • Are passionate about teaching and able to demonstrate a genuine care for the individual pupils
  • Are prepared to plan, develop and teach lessons that cater for the needs of each individual child in their care
  • Incorporate a variety of teaching and learning strategies
  • Are able to maintain open communications with parents and work colleagues in building and maintaining a supportive and encouraging team environment
  • Is committed to raising standards of attainment, achievement, behaviour and well-being of pupils
  • Have experience of teaching English to Year 5
  • Keep abreast of educational developments
  • Keep accurate and updated ongoing records and prepare reports
  • Have experience teaching in mixed year groups.
