Who are we looking for?

You are warmly invited to apply for the post of SENCO within the King Edward VI Academy Trust Birmingham. We are seeking an aspiring, committed and passionate teacher to lead on the strategic development of SEND across the academy and the day-to-day delivery of effective SEND provision. You will be able to provide professional guidance in the area of SEN in order to secure high quality curriculum planning and teaching alongside the effective use of resources to ensure the best learning outcomes and successes for our pupils.

You will have excellent knowledge in relation to SEND provision and be able to inspire and motivate pupils and colleagues through exceptional teaching practice. You will be given the opportunity to explore new ideas and ways of working and be encouraged to be innovative, collaborative and creative using a range of strategies to develop the SEND department. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented SENCO to join a supportive, friendly and ambitious team with a strong track record of results.

The academy is rapidly improving and continuing to benefit from having joined King Edward VI Academy Trust Birmingham which has led to investment across the academy, including the availability of cutting-edge technology in each classroom.
