We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, passionate and knowledgeable individual with a desire to make a difference to the lives of our pupils. The successful candidate will have high expectations, a commitment to raising standards of attainment and up-to-date knowledge of teaching and behaviour management strategies

Hours : 20 Hours Per Week

The Acting Headteacher and Governors would like to appoint an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant who has proven skills in supporting children with SEND, a sound understanding of delivering a wide range of interventions to support both children’s learning and social development, and experience of using effective strategies to support children with more complex needs.


Responsibilities will include: in-class support, group work, co-ordinating, implementing and delivering interventions.  In addition, the role will require the successful candidate to support the pastoral and behaviour needs of our pupils. The role requires a good knowledge of current practices, a positive approach, a willingness to learn and a desire to be part of an effective team.


We are looking for someone who:



  • Able to effectively co-ordinate, implement and deliver a wide range of interventions

  • has high expectations for all pupils

  • cares for the well-being of our pupils and supports their development of good personal and social skills.

  • is willing to contribute to the life of the school and its community

  • is keen to work as part of a team

  • is willing to share good practice

  • committed to helping every child learn and able provide for their individual needs


The successful applicant will join an exceptionally hardworking team. They will have very high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour.
