Pay Range: MPS/UPS + TLR 1b (£10,204) required for September 2021

Do you want to make an impact in a school that is moving forward with exciting times ahead?  The Wilnecote School is expanding fast and is part of the Community Academies Trust, a local school-based Trust with an excellent reputation and two recently selected National Teaching Schools at its heart.

Our school aspires to be outstanding with high expectations and aspirations for each student.  We are proud of the achievements of the young people who attend our school and are committed to developing the skills of leadership, cooperation and personal responsibility so that they succeed academically and also become active, self-confident citizens.

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and dynamic teacher to lead our Physical Education faculty and to grow our Outdoor Education offer. The department benefits from a dedicated suite of rooms and plentiful resources. Physical Education is a popular option choice and there is excellent potential for future growth of the department, including the development of vocational and practical courses.

You will possess the energy and vision to achieve the best outcomes for our students.  You will have a proven track record of success in the classroom and be able to demonstrate the interpersonal and leadership skills to motivate and inspire students and colleagues.  You must have a strong teaching and learning focus and evidence of recent successful experience and impact.

In return our school will offer you:-

  • Strong leadership and support
  • Support, mentoring and professional learning appropriate to this important post and linked to the National Teaching Schools in our Trust.
  • A professional, hardworking and supportive team of specialist Maths staff with the desire and skills to ever improve outcomes.
  • The opportunity to make a significant contribution to the strategic development of the school
  • A forward-looking, enthusiastic, dynamic and open staff

If this role is of interest to you and you can contribute to our future success more information and application documents is available on our website https://thewilnecoteschool.com/vacancies/
