Job Start Date: ASAP

You will be required to support staff across the Multi Academy Trust (MAT) in ensuring the trust as a whole and the organisations it is comprised of are compliant with regards to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

and other key areas of compliance as defined by the Department for Education and other legislation governing educational settings.

You will be the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the MAT and will be responsible for GDPR compliance, carrying out duties related to achieving and maintaining GDPR compliance.

You will also be responsible for auditing and advising across the MAT on other areas of compliance such as website compliance, polices and premises.

The role will require you to ensure the MAT handles and processes data in accordance with GDPR and report to the IT Operations Manager on progress and status, providing accurate reports and plans of action. You will need to be familiar with other areas of compliance and will regularly audit and advise the IT Operations Manager and the Senior Leadership

Teams within each organisation on any work required towards achieving or maintaining compliance.

Experience with Data Protection and / or compliance management is desirable but not essential as training will be provided in both areas.
