Mockingbird Liaison Worker (Senior Practitioner)

Salary:  £37,890- £41,881 per annum

 37 Hours per week – Fixed Term until: 30/6/2022

We aim to ensure that our children achieve emotional, physical and legal permanence; growing up in loving homes with adults who provide them with a strong sense of security, continuity, commitment and identity. Together4Children operates through a hub and spoke model enabling Local Authorities to benefit from core central functions and networked regional delivery, whilst retaining direct service delivery functions within their own borders. This ensures the Partnership reflects the local context, adapted to meet the needs of local children and families, and maintains clear links to local Children & Families Services

Together4Chldren are seeking innovative and creatives ways to deliver foster care within our Region. In partnership with The Fostering Network, Together4Children are seeking to embed the Mockingbird Family Model into our fostering practice. The Mockingbird Family Model is an extended family model that provides respite care, peer support, regular joint planning and training, and social activities. The programme improves the stability of fostering placements and strengthens the relationships between carers, children and young people, fostering services and birth families.
