The role

The Guildhall is used as the administration centre for members of the City Council but also to provide a bespoke venue for weddings, conferences and meetings and attract visitors to the City. 

The Council is looking for someone to assist in the day to day running of this beautiful Grade 1 listed building and be responsible for delivering excellent front of house services to internal and external customers. 

Key requirements

The successful candidate will provide excellent Guildhall services to support and facilitate the delivery of Council and committee meetings, events, mayoral and civic functions, front of house and hospitality services.

The role requires the post holder to have an excellent level of knowledge and experience of using ICT software and hardware packages, including audio and visual equipment to facilitate and improve service delivery.

This role requires evening and weekend working on a rota basis. More details can be explained during an interview.
