We are seeking a positive, proactive Cover Supervisor to join our experienced team. The role is three days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays) during term time.  There may be the opportunity for additional hours on Mondays or Thursdays by mutual agreement. Duties will include the supervision of whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher, with guidance from the relevant subject department.  This will include the implementation of programmes of work, the management of student behaviour and assisting students in relevant activities in line with the school's policies and procedures.  The successful candidate may also be required to assist with the supervision of students out of lesson times, including before and after school and at lunch times.  On days when cover for lessons is not required then the postholder will link to the Learning Support Team, providing support in lessons.  

The Salary Scale is the Local Authority’s Grade 5 - £19,698 - £20,903 per annum (pro rata). The actual starting salary for three days per week will be £10,241.
