The Adult Services Commissioning Unit is looking for a Commissioning Support Officer to join our busy team.  We work at the heart of the People Directorate in Worcestershire County Council, commissioning high quality, value for money adult social care services.  As a first point of contact for the team, you will support us to work with a wide range of partners across social care and health, including providers, people who use services and family carers, to improve outcomes for people in Worcestershire.

Key skills and experience:

You need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to demonstrate experience of working collaboratively with others.

The Commissioning Support Officer post also requires significant computing experience, especially in the use of software packages, including the use of spreadsheets and databases.  You will be able to apply a detailed knowledge of issues relevant to commissioning and contracts and be able to extract, present and convey accurate information.
