Education Impact Academy Trust is a newly created MAT incorporating Wilson Stuart School, Queensbury School and sponsoring 1 additional high needs school through the academisation process. Wilson Stuart School is an Ofsted designated outstanding all age (2 – 25 years) Special School which provides very high-quality education for 232 pupils

and young people who have physical disabilities, and/or complex medical conditions. Queensbury School provides for 245 students who have MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health). Wilson Stuart School have achieved an Outstanding grade in their last 6 Ofsted inspections and in their last 3 inspections, the latest of which was March 2019, they were graded as outstanding in every single aspect of the inspection.

We recognise the importance of teamwork and this is evident through all aspects of the work we do. Our students are delightful, work hard and are keen to learn and both schools are very happy and positive working environments. We have a comprehensive induction programme and friendly and very supportive staff along with excellent facilities and a

superb environment to support teaching and learning. The schools are not just a special school –they are exceptional schools! We will consider applications from Teachers with mainstream background who would be excited by the challenge of moving into the special education sector.

OB OVERVIEW

We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Male Care Assistant to join our current Care Team.

The successful candidate will assist our male students with personal care when required and to assist in the male bathrooms. The role will include some pastoral care so good communication and written skills would be desirable.
