Rufford Primary School is a single form entry school, with a Governor-led Nursery on site, in Stourbridge.  We have a caring and positive atmosphere, where purposeful learning takes place. The staff are highly motivated, enthusiastic, caring, hardworking and concerned with all aspects of our children’s development.            

We aim to provide a variety of experiences which make learning exciting, arouse children’s interest and stimulate curiosity.  We hope our approach to education encourages children to achieve their full potential and aspire to the highest personal standards of achievement, presentation and behaviour.

Rufford Primary wish to appoint a committed, passionate teacher to teach in KS2 from September 2021. (Fixed term for 1 year in the first instance). 

We welcome applications from KS1 or KS2 teachers; NQTs are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • is flexible and adaptable and manages change with confidence;
  • works well as part of a team;
  • offers outstanding practice at their career stage to enthuse and motivate the children in their learning;
  • is positive and relishes the opportunity to make a difference to children's lives;
  • shows a drive and commitment for every child to make good progress on their learning journey;
  • works effectively with good communication and interpersonal skills with children, staff and parents; 
  • has experience in similar schools


Please note that Rufford Primary School is planning to convert to Academy status and join Invictus Education Trust in September 2021, this means the successful candidate’s contract of employment will be transferred over to the MAT on conversion as part of the TUPE process.
