About Us and The Role



We are currently looking to recruit two Business Support Officers on a Fixed Term Contracts in the Post Room and in the Portfolio Management Office. The Post Room role is a fixed term contract for 6 – 12 months and the Portfolio Management Office role is a fixed term contact for 9 – 12 months.


Warwickshire County Council has recently created a new service which will change the way it delivers administrative support across the organisation. The Business Support Service will provide efficient and professional administrative activities with a focus on continually improving the way we work.


For these roles we are looking for flexible, self-motivated individuals with:


  • excellent communication skills
  • a digital mindset
  • a can-do attitude
  • an eye for detail
  • the ability to work in a collaborative way
  • an eagerness to drive continual improvement


As a Business Support Officer, need to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, be organised and demonstrate effective time-management skills, produce work to a high standard, maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements.
