This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a friendly, professional team and the diverse services we support.

The WES Safety and Premises Service provides advice, support and guidance to schools across Warwickshire covering all relevant health and safety topics and workplace wellbeing issues.

 

About the Role

Warwickshire County Council are looking for a suitably experienced Health and Safety administrator who will work as part of a busy service in an exciting and fast pace authority. You will offer expertise and support to maintain an effective and productive service by organising, creating, and monitoring subscriptions and ongoing amendments. You will be the first point of call with customers and stakeholders and therefore excellent customer service skills will be required.

The working hours for this role will be 09:00-5:30 Monday – Thursday and 09:00-5:00 Friday to cover service needs.

You will be involved in delivering a wide range of administration functions including:

  • financial support with managing income and expenditure for the traded service
  • create and manage tracking software to ensure an effective service is maintained
  • overseeing and implementing elements of the training administrative process
  • formatting of policy and training documents
  • undertaking other administration duties as dictated by the needs of the organization
  • proof reading documentation
  • liaising with current and potential clients
  • acting as main point of contact for traded service
  • purchasing and sourcing training resources (books, manuals etc.)
  • sales and promotion of services
  • other duties as dictated by the needs of the organisation

 

 

If you want to join us for this challenging and rewarding role you’ll need to:

 

  • Hold or be willing to work towards NVQ Level 3 in Administration

For this role, you’ll need to be confident, a good communicator with a wide and varied audience, have a flexible approach to work, be able to meet deadlines, multi task and have excellent IT skills to be able to produce reports, interpret data and deliver advice to suit the audience. You will also need to be able to work under your own initiative and be highly organised.
