Hours: 22.5 Hours per Week

Could you be the perfect candidate to help us provide a life-saving service across Solihull, bringing peace of mind to elderly, vulnerable people and their loved ones?

We are looking for a compassionate, self-motivated and hardworking candidate to join our team. This position is a crucial role and you will be working as a key representative for a business that helps thousands of elderly people each year.

You will specialise in support and prevention services. Working alongside partners you will provide a range of services that develop and sustain service users’ capacity to live independently in their own homes and enhance their quality of life. This includes Trusted Assessments, Assistive Technology & Telecare,  Emergency responses  and Home Support services.

To flourish as a Wellbeing Officer, you must possess a genuine desire to help the elderly and vulnerable, be empathetic and attentive to our customer’s needs, and believe in the principles of dignity and independence.

The person we are looking for will be an excellent communicator, have a good understanding and/or experience of Social Care or Support Services and good IT knowledge. They will have a strong commitment to achieving both team and personal goals in a commercial environment

In return we are offering an opportunity to develop skills in a Trusted Assessor environment as well as gaining valuable knowledge of Health and Wellbeing service delivery.

You will work alongside partners to ensure that older and vulnerable members of the community maintain their independence.

The aim of the service is to offer a flexible menu of options that are fully responsive and customer focussed reaching a wide client group which will include Hospital discharge services. You will be required to work a duty rota in order to cover the operating times of the service which are 8am to 8pm over 7 days per week.

An enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role.
