The Hive College provides a vocational curriculum for learners from 19 to 25 years with high needs

such as physical and learning difficulties and sensory impairments. We offer three individualised study programmes for students with PMLD, SLD, MLD and ASD. As part of the on-going development of a highly successful Independent Specialist College, we have a vacancy for a full time PMLD Teacher to join our team of professional and dedicated people. Our students are delightful, work hard and are keen to learn and the college is a very happy and positive working environment. any person appointed will be a highly committed and enthusiastic professional. We require an outstanding, enthusiastic and committed specialist Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

teacher to be part of our team. The teacher will have responsibility for a tutor group and will provide a sensory programme, integrating the physical, academic, social and emotional needs of individual students.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Knowledge and understanding of the needs of pupils with PMLD

• The ability to support the raising of standards for these pupils through curriculum development

• The ability to keep accurate records and use data from these records to analyse trends and improve quality of teaching

• The ability to work effectively within a team
