Have you got ambition and the wish to make a real difference?  If so come and find out more about our friendly and supportive school.

This role is all about supporting professional development and working collaboratively to drive further improvement in the science faculty.

You will be passionate about your subject and be able to lead by example.  You will support the leader of science to develop and co-ordinate schemes of work and you will work closely with the deputy headteacher, getting involved in project work that will be key to raising student achievement.  Our aim is for students to exceed their expectations and for you to experience great satisfaction when they get there.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, strong classroom practitioner, able to instigate worthwhile interventions who enjoys working as part of a team in the best interests for our students.

This is a great time to join Foxford, on its journey of positive trajectory.  You would also be part of Castle Phoenix Trust.  A Trust that recognises that teaching can be demanding and is therefore committed to invest in, and develop, staff in a supportive manner with values that are really important including, Respect to All, From All, Innovation and Collaboration.

We will play to your strengths and can offer you:

  • A supportive and visible SLT team and new Headteacher
  • Regular feedback to develop your teaching expertise
  • Access to expert coaching
  • An opportunity to participate in a learning and teaching project
  • Developmental opportunities for the next step in your career including on-going CPD with programmes of study such as NQPML
  • Support from a vibrant and caring science team that has the freedom to innovate and inspire our students through faculty centred leadership
  • A comprehensive induction programme and mentor
  • A range of benefits which includes cycle to work, access to a gym and swimming pool, free parking, an employee discount scheme, provision of an iPad, a commitment to staff wellbeing and recognition initiatives through the Trust’s people strategy and well-being committee.
  • A strong and effective admin team to enable you to concentrate on your teaching

Foxford has great deal to be proud of, hoping it is the kind of place people want to work with a meaningful focus on student outcomes and a desire to continuously improve.
