Senior Improvement Adviser - ref EX01121

Location: St Chad’s Academies Trust, Three Spires House, Station Road, Lichfield, WS3 6HX

Salary:  £60,000 + Church Workers Pension (non contributory)

Contract: Permanent,  Full time (35hrs per week)

Start Date: September 1st 2021

St Chad’s Academies Trust is transforming the futures of young children in our Church of England academies across the West Midlands. The Trust which formed in 2014 comprises of 19 (first, middle and primary) academies, working in partnership with seven local authorities.

The Trust is looking to appoint a Senior Improvement Adviser responsible for designated academies with additional responsibilities for Safeguarding and English across the Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to join and to nurture and promote effective system leadership within the organisation continuing to improve the life chances of children.

We are looking for an experienced, resourceful practitioner who welcomed new challenges and opportunities. Working closely with our Principals you will support the drive to secure further improvements and sharing best practice within the Communities of Practice (geographical hubs) and across the Trust.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience of successful school improvement and clear evidence of effective support to schools.

Successful candidates will:

  • Deliver a customer service of a consistently high standard to our academies.
  • Be able to share and reflect on good practice with Principals, Senior Leaders and staff working flexibly alongside and in support of them.
  • Have a track record of success in school improvement, developing effective working relationships internally and externally.
  • Think strategically and act practically to promote ethos of the Trust through collaborative working across multiple disciplines.
  • Promote and model Christian values and ethos.
