Student Behaviour Support Officer (Grade 6 & SCP 9-15)

37 hours per week (permanent, full time, term time only) 

Salary range £20,903 – £23,541 pro-rata

Actual pro-rata salary will be £18,072.63 based on term time only

Start date ASAP

 

Paulet High school, a partner school in John Taylor Multi-Academy Trust, is looking to appoint a student support officer to work with our Pastoral Team with the aim of reducing fixed term exclusions from school.

Based in the Pastoral office, the successful applicant will help manage and address the behavioural issues that impact on student well-being and progress.

The successful applicant must be focused, be able to build effective relationships with students in a firm but empathetic manner and be POSITIVE.

Whilst previous experience of working with young people would be beneficial; support will be provided to undertake this role. Candidates with relevant experience and who possesses the personal attributes described above are encouraged to apply.
