The Role

The Governors of Alveston CofE Primary School seek an excellent class teacher, or a newly or recently qualified teacher aspiring to excellence, to join our successful and friendly team in September 2021.

At the heart of its community, Alveston is a popular one form entry school just 2 miles outside Stratford-upon-Avon town centre. Being small has its advantages: we are a family! We know every child, every family and they know us. Our mission encapsulates ‘how we do things around here’ - the way we work today and endeavour to work tomorrow:

Together we all SHINE.  Helping each other to Strive, be Happy, Inspire, Nurture and Excel in all that we do.

Dedicated to ensuring our children experience the very best education, our entire team is committed to educating the whole child ensuring our pupils reach their full potential in every aspect of life. We work hard to ensure each child experiences personal success and a creative curriculum to ignite the desire and motivation to learn. Supporting every child according to their needs, setting high standards and nurturing wellbeing, we embrace diversity and deliver an environment where children not only feel safe, secure and valued but also supported and challenged in equal measure.

We are looking for a teacher who will enjoy working in our dedicated and professional team and help us SHINE all the more brightly because they are with us. Someone who is passionate about their teaching, a team player who will enjoy working with enthusiastic staff, with the vision and drive to help raise standards further. A team player who will strive to deliver the best not just for their pupils but also for their colleagues. In return, we will ensure that your time at Alveston is an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

If you are enthusiastic, hardworking, committed to high levels of achievement and relish incorporating creativity into the curriculum, then we would love you to hear from you.
