We are looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching / support assistant Grade 2 for our inclusive one form entry primary School situated in Rushwick village. If you have had experience of working with visual impairment / additional needs, speech and language or Thrive either within a school or specialist setting tis could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We require an enthusiastic, hard –working and highly motivated teaching assistant in Reception/ KS1 to include one to one individual support to a child identified with visual impairment SEND, under the guidance of SENCO and the class teacher.

We are looking for an experienced SEN teaching assistant/ learning support assistant who has experience in supporting individuals with visual impairment and has a good understanding of how a pupils needs can be met within a mainstream setting.

Must be able to work independently with a child on a 1-1 basis. Be able to demonstrate the impact you have on a child’s progress and development.

You will need to be flexible and focused in your approach and committed to supporting SEND in mainstream schools.

Hours are part time/ 3 days per week (18 hours), term time only and attached to a child while they are in our school. Your application will be subject to 2 educational references and an enhanced DBS check.
