Apprentice Regeneration Assistant - Ref: RT01321

Fixed Term 24 months contract

National Minimum Wage for Age:
25 and over: £8.91 per hour
21 to 22: £8.36 per hour
18 to 20: £6.56 per hour
Under 18: £4.62 per hour                                

We have a great opportunity for a driven individual to join the Walsall Programme Management Team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service support across the various programme management team functions; in particular operations, quality and finance. Through robust and effective communication, converse with internal and external stakeholders; whilst providing general assistance to support the efficiency of our processes and procedures.

We want to hear from an enthusiastic, passionate and highly motivated individual who can play a part in changing the lives of local people and who wants to create a positive impact to our local communities. 

We are looking for a candidate with some basic administrative skills and interest in programme management and joining a diverse and dynamic team.

You will need to:

  • Commit to work towards a new qualification.
  • Have an interest in working within a Programme Management Team and developing new skills in project management and project delivery.
  • Be a good communicator.
  • Have a willingness to learn and develop skills in a variety of software packages, to produce and maintain databases, spreadsheets, monitoring reports, case studies, minute taking and action plans.
  • Have a level 2 in Maths and English

For this exciting role, you will need to undertake a Level 3 Customer Service Specialist qualification.

This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers.  The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English
