Wrap Around Care Level 3 Assistant

Required as soon as possible 

Part Time: Term Time Monday, Thursday: 3.15 pm – 6. 15 pm 

We are seeking part time, qualified Level 3 Practitioner to work in our wrap around care  after school club.

We are looking for an individual who takes real pride in their work and is highly committed to providing the highest quality after school care for our  pupils. You will be responsible for making sure that all children remain safe and that their welfare is promoted.

The successful candidate will:

• Minimum of NVQ 3 in Childcare (or equivalent)

• A high level of drive and motivation

• An ability to relate to and get the best from children

• The ability to work collaboratively with staff

• The ability to work with parents and carers

• Good time keeping and procedures

Qualifications:

You must hold a recognised Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent (NVQ 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development)

Skills and experience:

•              Previous experience of caring for children aged 2+

•              A passion to provide high-quality childcare.

•              An ability to plan and prepare exciting activities for  children

•              Flexibility

•              Excellent communication skills; with children, parents/carers and Colleagues

•              Punctuality

•              Reliable and trustworthy

•              Confidence, commitment, enthusiasm and warmth - ensuring the children get the best care and start to their early learning

•              An ability to work as part of a team

•              A sense of joy when working with children.
