An exciting opportunity is available for an Administrative Support Officer within our Fire Protection team
Fire Protection is part of Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service. It is a small dedicated team; whose members ensure that there is compliance across the wide spectrum of legislation that applies to Fire Safety in the built environment. The Role
27.0 Hours per Week
We’re looking for a high performing individual to join us. You would be an integral part of the team supporting the enforcement of a range of Fire Safety Legislation, providing community safety and as a whole making Warwickshire a safer place.
Working in this varied and interesting environment you must be well organised with a positive and flexible approach to workloads and can work to tight deadlines. You should be able to work well as part of a team, always exercising confidentiality. You must also be able to prioritise your own workload and at times work on your own initiative.
You will need a high level of keyboard skills and be competent in the use of computerised systems and as one of the guardians of our data systems have experience of database management. You will need to have good and accurate literacy, numeracy, administrative skills and the ability to analyse information to solve general queries.
There will be a significant amount of liaison with members of the team, Senior Officers, other agencies and regulatory authorities as well as the public and business representatives, servicing their requests or supporting their role; therefore, excellent verbal communications are essential, as are written skills in terms of legal documentation or the recording of outcomes and resolutions.
