Early Years Practitioner within EYFS required to start as soon as possible
(Permanent position)
The Academy Committee of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Academy wish to appoint an Early Years Practitioner (Level 5) for 32.5 hrs per week to work within our EYFS. Actual pay: £15,360 - £17,354.
We are delighted to advertise a vacancy for a permanent Early Years Practitioner within the Foundation Stage. The successful applicant will be:
- An experienced practitioner who will help to promote high standards of behaviour and attainment
- A team player who is committed to their own professional development and that of their colleagues
- Able to contribute to the development of the learning environment both inside and outside
- Prepared to take part in all aspects of school life
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of the early years curriculum
- Contribute to assessment and record keeping of children’s profiles
- Able to cover the class teacher in their absence – PPA, training, etc
- Committed to working closely with parents and as part of a team
- Able to inspire, challenge and motivate themselves and others
- Be child-centred and be able to think creatively
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude
- Proactive and use their initiative
- Be a reflective practitioner with the ability to learn from experiences and challenges
- Minimum NVQ 3 Early Years (or recognised equivalent qualification)
