37 hours per week - Term Time only

Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, energetic and efficient support staff for the post of Student Support Worker within this 11 – 18, Voluntary Controlled, Church of England secondary school. The post is tenable as soon as possible. Applicants do not have to be practising Christians but must be willing to support the ethos and Christian character of the school.

The successful applicant will support the Head of College in the following:

• The welfare, attendance and behaviour management of their link Colleges

• The administration associated with the above

• Providing up to 7 hrs per week of on-call support to teachers

• Supporting the vertical tutor system and encouraging student participation in school activity such as college competitions

  • Engagement with external agencies to support pastoral wellbeing

There is also an expectation that the successful candidate will support first aid provision across the school.
