Teacher / Conductor-Teacher required – Greenhall Nursery

Starting September 2021

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher or Conductor-Teacher to join our outstanding team. Greenhall is a Local Authority Special Nursery for children in the Early Years, specialising in meeting the needs of children with difficulties in the prime areas of learning (physical, communication and language and personal, social and emotional development). A child-centred approach is at the heart of all that we do.

The school is committed to Conductive Education as a means of early intervention for our pupils with physical disabilities. A willingness to undertake training towards becoming a Teacher/Conductor is desirable.

We are offering the opportunity to work in a welcoming Nursery with a committed, enthusiastic and highly dedicated staff team. Training, support and coaching will be offered to the successful candidate to ensure they are successful in their duties.

  The successful applicant will;

• Be an excellent classroom practitioner
• Have a sound understanding of SEND
• Have an understanding of the EYFS and the needs of children in the early years
• Be committed to working closely with parents and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Have a knowledge of current educational trends, curriculum developments and educational initiatives within a specialist SEN setting, including PMLD and ASC
• Be able to lead a team of support staff and have the ability to inspire, challenge and motivate others across the school.

Full-time, permanent.  Salary Range: Teachers Main Scale range 1-6
