We are looking for a caring and self-motivated Occupational Therapist to join our committed Therapy Team.  The desirable candidate will have prior experience in a learning disabilities or neurological setting.  Your responsibilities will include assessing students aged 16+ and providing programs and supporting interventions to increase independence and participation in activities of daily living.

You must have the ability to develop positive working relationships with individuals at all levels (internal and external) to promote the college and experience of working in a flexible and responsive team. The role will also include working in co-operation with other disciplines in the College, external agencies and family to promote awareness of the role of Occupational Therapist. Highly developed communication and written skills will be required to deliver a Therapy service that meets the needs of individuals with physical, sensory and / or cognitive disabilities. Responsibility for own continuing professional development will be required.

You should have a Diploma, BSc Occupational Therapy Degree or State Registered Therapy Degree and be a Member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists.
