Abbey Hill School & College is a successful and over-subscribed special school meeting the needs of children and young people with learning difficulties, communication & interaction difficulties and/or Autistic Spectrum Conditions

We are pleased to be recruiting an Employer Relationships Manager to drive forward our Internship programme. Working on behalf of our Abbey Hill Interns division, you will play a major part in employer engagement, raising awareness, and securing meaningful opportunities for employment.

Experience of working within an educational environment is not necessarily a prerequisite. This position will be most likely suited to an experienced and innovative professional with a proven track record within a sales and marketing related environment.

Experience and Qualifications.

  • Demonstrable experience of working effectively within a marketing, sales and recruitment environment
  • Experience of engaging with employers
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills with GCSE grade C or equivalent

    Skills/Ability

  • Ability to produce concise and complex reports
  • Ability to work on own initiative, balance competing priorities and organise a work schedule
  • Ability to motivate children/young people by establishing empathic and supportive working relationships
  • Ability to work as part of a team to reach agreed targets and outcomes for children/young people
  • The ability to build relationships with employers, staff and young people

    An immediate start is available for the right applicant.

The successful candidate will benefit from a comprehensive induction, continuing CPD and an opportunity to work alongside our committed and supportive staff.  There may be the opportunity to work additional hours during some of the school holidays.
