Mary Elliot School is a specialist setting in Walsall providing education to young people at Key Stages 3 and 4, and 16-19 provision, all of whom have a variety of SEND complexities. The post holder will be joining our vibrant team as we move forward with mission to provide excellence in nurturing, developing and shaping young lives. Mary Elliot is part a collaborative, supportive and progressive federation. This is an exciting time, and offers an opportunity to provide the empathy, support and nurture that will directly impact the future of the lives of the most significantly challenged young people in the area.
This role should appeal to you if you are confident in your ability to combine a high level of skill in the classroom with the child-focused and nurture based approach we expect from staff. Working closely with the supportive Teaching teams, Head of School and Assistant Headteachers, the post holder will be responsible for a class, and expected o contribute to subject development for the school. If you are a UPS candidate, an appropriate responsibility will be attached to the role.
