Teaching Assistant – General level 2

For September 2021

17.5 hours per week across 5 mornings

Salary - Grade 3

Governors are seeking to appoint committed and enthusiastic teaching assistants to join a successful team of colleagues with effect from September 2021.

3 posts are available - 1 post in nursery and 2 posts across the school

The successful candidate must:

- demonstrate an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning by adopting strategies to   support the work of the teacher and include achievement of all pupils including where appropriate those with SEND needs

- be committed to raising achievements for all children

- be flexible and adaptable to work in different situations

- be able to work as part of a team

- have a friendly and caring nature

- be organised and have good interpersonal and communication skills

- hold NVQ 2 for teaching assistants
