Job Details
Phoenix is looking to appoint a willing and self-motivated Minibus Driver/Assistant Caretaker to transport staff and students to and from educational and extra-curricular outings using the School’s vehicle, and to undertake routine vehicle maintenance. The post holder will also be required to assist with general site maintenance duties to support the smooth and efficient operation of the School.
Applicants must hold a Category B car Drivers Licence and either Category D1 Licence or a PCV Minibus Licence, and must be over 25 years of age for the purposes of vehicle insurance. Experience of driving a minibus or similar vehicle is essential and candidates will be required to pass the appropriate driving test approved by Sandwell Council before taking up their duties.
The successful candidate will be flexible and able to carry out driving duties at short notice, if required.
