The Role

The Governors of Goodyers End Primary School wish to appoint a Classroom Teacher to start in September 2021 on a fixed term, 12-month basis although there is a possibility this could be extended further.

We are a 2-form entry primary school in Bedworth, a small market town in the borough of Nuneaton & Bedworth, Warwickshire. At our last OFSTED we were graded as GOOD. Children across the school make good progress and our results really do speak for themselves.

Our school vision is big hearts, open minds and this is always at the forefront of what we do for our pupils.

Key Requirements

The role is open to both NQT's and more experienced teachers across either key stage; what we are looking for more than anything is someone with a genuine passion for teaching with exceptional classroom management, and content knowledge.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct
• Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position
• Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of pupils
• Work with the Headteacher and leadership team, to implement the strategic vision for primary education so that they ensure excellence
• Have a willingness to demonstrate commitment to the values and behaviours of Goodyers End Primary School
• Relate positively to and show respect for all members of the school and wider community
