The Role

Evergreen School is an all-through community special educational needs school based in Warwick. We have 270 children and young people enrolled who are 4 to 19 years old.
Our children and young people are placed in classes according to their abilities, but essentially our site located on Deansway caters for primary-aged children and our site located on Brittain Lane caters for secondary-aged children and young people.

We are looking to appoint a Newly Qualified or MPS Teacher, with a passion and drive for working with children and young people with special educational needs. We are seeking a dedicated professional who shares our vision of putting our children, young people, and their families at the heart of everything we do.

As one of our teachers, under the direction of our experienced and enthusiastic Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key part in delivering our innovative curriculum learning areas: My Thinking Skills, Understanding My World, My Skills for Life, My Physical Skills, My Social and Emotional Wellbeing, and My Language and Literacy. You will enjoy excellent resources and become an active part of our stimulating school environment.

As a teacher at Evergreen you can expect the full support of our Senior Leadership Team and Governing Board, who will endeavour to develop your skills and experience in special educational needs, through provision of continual professional development in order to achieve the best outcomes for all our children and young people.

Key Requirements

We are looking for an NQT/MPS Teacher until 31st August 2022 initially. You may already have SEN experience or be in a mainstream setting, or have gained your experience, knowledge and skills somewhere else. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
