Play Assistant - Disabled Children Summer Stay & Play Scheme
£9.50 per hour
Scale 1
35 hours per week
Can you make a positive difference to someone’s life? Do you have good communication and listening skills, and feel passionate about supporting other people to live a more independent and fulfilling life?
We are looking to recruit highly motivated people to support in the delivery of the Summer Stay & Play Scheme for Children and Young People with Additional and Complex Needs. The Scheme is based at The Bridge School for 5 weeks of the summer holiday including 1 week for training.
The successful applicants will support the Phase Leaders to deliver fun and exciting play opportunities for 3-16 year olds with additional and complex needs, ensuring all their needs are met including personal care and support during meal times.
The ideal applicant will have experience or an understanding of working with children and young people in a similar setting. In particular working with children and young people with additional and complex would be desirable.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a team who are passionate about providing excellence in care and support for our customers, and you will be a key part of the team.
