We have a vacancy for a qualified experienced social worker to join us in the Wyre Forest Area Social Work Team. Are you enthusiastic, dynamic, and want to join a dedicated and very supportive team delivering Adult Social Care across the Wyre Forest Area.
You will need to have the confidence to advocate for our clients and work in partnership with health colleagues, other statutory partners, and voluntary sector providers. As a practitioner you will need to have the ability to be creative, innovative and search for creative solutions that are not always obvious. In Worcestershire we have adopted the 3 Conversation model of practice which involves a strength based approach to working with people..
Managing your own work and caseload includes the ability to approve and purchase support packages and have the confidence to support people to make some positive changes in their life
Experience of undertaking safe guarding enquiries is essential and working in complex situations using professional judgment and a range of interventions
We are a very friendly team and supportive of each other. We meet regularly as a team for reflective practice, and you will be offered 1:1 supervision monthly.
There will be opportunity for further development and progression
Applicant should have at least 2 years’ experience post their ASYE year
