Job Details
The Governing Body of St Margaret’s CE Primary School are looking to appoint a skilled practitioner for September 2021 to work predominantly 1:1 with an early years SEND pupil, but also to support small groups as directed by the class teacher.
The successful candidate will have a relevant Level 2 qualification and be someone who is caring and motivated and be able to work as a team member. Knowledge and experience of using Makaton would be an advantage.
We can offer: Training and support; a positive learning ethos; caring and friendly staff team.
Main responsibilities –the care and welfare of the pupil which includes supporting personal care, to help with dressing and changing for activities and personal hygiene, to have contact and form links with parents, to liaise with the SENCO and class teacher.
